Boosting User-Friendliness to Bestie Level 

Our clients tell us that Humanitru’s user-friendliness makes a huge difference in their day-to-day functions. The development team dove into that concept and used it as inspiration for the changes they made this month.

Secure Alpine With 2-Factor Authentication

We’re convinced that your success and your data security go together like peanut butter and jelly! Because of that, our engineers have been putting the final polish this month on Humanitru’s upcoming 2-factor authentication (2FA) feature. Beginning November 9, 2022, you’ll be prompted to set up your 2FA method to strengthen the security of your platform and your data. You’ll have a chance to snooze this feature for 30 days, but the sooner you enable it, the sooner you’ll have an extra layer of protection to help set your mind at ease.

 

Card Swipers Help Smooth Auction Event Check-Ins

In the thick of it this event season? You can now speed up onsite guest check-in with Humanitru’s new card swiper integration! Auction bidding profiles can be set up in a breeze by using a magnetic swiper to input the guest’s credit card information rather than having to key in each one by hand. When you’re processing dozens of check-ins and have a long line of waiting guests who need your attention, this new integration feels like a having an extra set of hands there to help.

Create Custom Tag-Based Notifications

If you’ve been hoping to receive tag-based notifications about activity in your database, your wish is granted. Customize notifications by tags on your settings tab and watch the data start flowing directly to your inbox. Want to be notified when a supporter tagged as a Volunteer makes a donation so you can send a special thank-you? Set up your criteria now!

 

Good News for Spanish Speakers

Security is our word of the month, but accessibility comes in a close second. Pinecone pages are now available in Spanish to make your fundraising efforts more welcoming to a larger audience.

 

Even More Auction Improvements

And last, but certainly not least, feedback from our clients has helped us deliver many improvements and refinements to Humanitru’s auction capabilities this October.

What’s new? You can now quickly text or email bidders who haven’t completed their profile so they can tackle it in advance and don’t have to rush the night of the event to complete.

 

We haven’t forgotten about your guests or bidders who are more reluctant to click a link – we’ve provided unique user QR codes for check-in that guests can use to open the auction on their mobile devices at the event.
