What we’ve been working on for June, 2023:
Donor Insights Expansion, New Integration Capabilities, and More
New and expanded features were added this month to provide greater supporter engagement visibility and help you make better data-driven fundraising decisions.
Be Our Guest
If you use Evergreen to manage volunteers, we’ve just made it easier to track supporters who sign up to work together with families, groups, or companies.
Volunteers now have the option to include a “Guest of” name in their registration information. For example, a local business selects your organization as the recipient of their annual Volunteer Day service. Each participating employee would complete a volunteer registration form and then list the company name in the “Guest of” field. This allows you to save tons of time and energy by quickly filtering and managing groups of volunteers without having to hunt for each person individually!
Alpine Dashboard Widget Flexibility
Tired of being limited to pre-set date ranges in your Alpine database? Good news! You can now access data for custom date ranges in charts, stats, and entities widgets. This new date specificity allows you to examine data in-depth during key periods to better analyze results and strategize for the future.
More Visibility From ActiveCampaign
Thanks to an expansion with ActiveCampaign, integration users now have more insights available from their campaign data.
By popular demand, one updated element of the expansion is the ability to sync the “unsubscribe” tag between Alpine and ActiveCampaign. Be sure to check out the other new changes with this integration and see how they can help you improve your current (or upcoming!) strategies.
Improved Donor Experience With Beyond
Nonprofits using Beyond with their Pinecone pages can now benefit from a smoother way for supporters to make contributions.
Donors can now toggle between credit card or ACH payment options when making a donation rather than being directed to a separate page to use ACH. Elminating a step (and sometimes lots of confusion!) from the payment process can help raise both donation rates and donation amounts.
Donor Insights Gets SIX New Strategic Data Points!
Donor Insights users have been invaluable in providing feedback and suggestions about how the tool could give them more strategic advantages. You spoke, and our developers listened!
On Sunday, July 2, 2023, Donor Insights welcomes six new data points to its Weekly Nudges. They include:
- Donors who increase their most recent gift amount compared to their previous gift amount
- Donor who decrease their most recent gift amount compared to their previous gift amount
- Donors who surpass the average donor lifetime value of the organization
- Donors whose gift surpasses the average gift amount of the organization
- Donors whose cumulative giving enters the 25th percentile, 50th percentile, 75th percentile, and above
- Engaged supporters from the week who registered to volunteer, who attended an event, who click a link in an email, etc., but who have never made a donation
Each of these insights offers an opportunity to provide greater stewardship while also ensuring key supporters receive the appropriate gratitude or nurturing while their actions are fresh. Acting on these opportunities can help improve donor retention, strengthen supporter trust, and boost overall revenue and engagement.
